Note: Each tag is unique. Depending on the plane, they differ in their feel, thickness of the material and color. Small bumps tell of the many years in the air and express the character of days gone by. Minor scratches, paint chips and bumps are completely normal and give the Aviationtag its special charm - that of a vintage product made from upcycled materials. These special features are not the result of the production process, but reflect the condition of the aircraft material used!
When using as a key ring or luggage tag, we recommend using the Aviationtag cover.
Boeing 747: The Boeing 747, is a four-engine wide-body aircraft that has been in use since conquered aviation in the 1960s. The first 747 made its maiden flight in 1969 and remained the world's largest passenger airliner until 2005. Its wingspan is 64.44 meters, the vertical deflection at the wing tip is up to 16 meters. The distinctive "hump" is characteristic of its silhouette, hence its nickname Jumbo Jet.
The most notable aerodynamic improvement of the 747-400 over previous 747s is its 1.8 meter (6 ft) longer wing with a 6 foot tall winglet that is angled up and canted slightly outward.
