FAQs for the Holiday Season and the Brexit

SHIPPING AROUND THE HOLIDAY

Our office is closed from the 19th of December until the 4th of January 2021. No telephone or email support during this period available. We will still ship the orders until December 23rd regardless, but orders coming in after the 23rd 12h (noon) CET will not be shipped this year anymore. As of January 4th, we will start sending out your orders again and will look at the support emails again.

CUSTOMER SUPPORT

Our office is closed from the 19th of December until the 4th of January 2021. Unfortunately your emails, messages in social media or phone calls will have to wait until January 4th. On January the 4th business will commence as usual and you can even start to look forward to a new Aviationtag soon.Please expect some delay in answering your messages.

Since the Brexit will take place during the time our office is closed and an agreement has not been reached yet between the EU and the UK, we need to make some decisions now. As of January, the 1st, Great Britain is not part of the EU anymore and all of our orders will be treated as non-EU sendings including tax declarations, potential tariffs, import taxes or fees on goods etc. We will have to implement a minimum order amount of 160€ for all UK customers for all orders coming in after 12h noon CET on December 23rd (which is the cut off time for shipping orders in 2020 still) because otherwise we would have to declare and pay British VAT, which is not an option. We totally understand that this might be frustrating for our private customers, but there is nothing we can do about it. There are several retail partners in the UK who are selling our Aviationtags, so please turn to them until a (free) trade agreement has been reached. Also, there will be a 5€ surcharge on all DHL Express deliveries to the UK, that we must pass on. We are sad that the UK will no longer be part of the EU. Hopefully when we are back at the office in January, a trade agreement has been reached and we can waive the minimum order amount.
