Aviationtag X bordbar Charity Auction
United for the victims of the flooding!
The flood disaster that ravaged parts of North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate in July has left many people with nothing and urgently in need our help. More than 200 people have died, many are injured and missing–the destruction defies comprehension and countless people have lost everything.
Aviationtag and bordbar want to help –so we are teaming up to launch a very special charity campaign. The area hit by the flooding is right on our doorstep, so we feel deep sympathy and a special responsibility to take action.
We have decided to auction off ten highly coveted and rare Aviationtags from the first Airbus A380 Aviationtag Edition and an exclusive designer it-piece by bordbar, the_voyager.
The entire proceeds will go to a good cause -half to the fundraising campaign "NRW hilft" (NRW helps) and half to the severely-hit district of Ahrweiler.
Aviationtag is offering ten tags from the first A380 edition of the former Singapore Airlines 9V-SKA for auction. It was the first A380 ever to enter scheduled service and also the first ever to be retired.Our ten tags are particularly rare: crafted from part of the plane featuring the red "CUT HERE IN EMERGENCY" lettering.
The ten specimens even include the highly sought-after tag with serial number 7000/7000.
In addition to the Aviationtags, we’ll also be auctioning off a _voyager by bordbar, the exclusive reinterpretation of the classic aircraft trolley, equipment included.
The _voyager was just launched in early 2021 and has already been awarded the coveted design award "Red Dot Award: Product Design 2021".
The charity auction is being held from today until Sunday, the 8th of August ob ebay. Details on the individual products are also available there.
