To celebrate the 90th anniversary of Widerøe, the oldest Norwegian aviation group, we are proud to present our special edition of exclusive Aviationtags from the De Havilland Canada DHC-8-311, also known as Dash 8, with registration LN-WFP.
These Aviationtags are not only a piece of aviation history, but also a symbol of the Dash 8's remarkable performance and long service at Widerøe.
The LN-WFP was delivered to Widerøe in May 1998 and provided 25 years of faithful service before being decommissioned in Bodø in June 2023. After recycling in Norway, we lovingly upcycled the material by hand.
Widerøe is the oldest Norwegian aviation group and plays an important role in rural Norway. With 3,500 employees, the airline serves 49 destinations in Norway and Europe. The fleet includes 48 aircraft, including 45 De Havilland Dash 8 turboprops.
Widerøe, headquartered in Bodø, is proud to be part of preserving Norwegian aviation history through this collaboration.
By upcycling the decommissioned Dash 8, Aviationtag and Widerøe are not only commemorating the airline's historic past, but also promoting sustainability in aviation.
The Widerøe plane tag edition is available in four color variants: white, mint, light green and dark green. We also offer various two-color versions. Take a look and choose your favorite color, some will sell out quickly!
This edition is not only a tribute to Widerøe's 90th anniversary, but also the first Dash 8 edition from Aviationtag .
