Asiana Airlines and Korean Air
The merger between Asiana Airlines and Korean Air was officially announced by the Republic of Korea's government in November 2020. Korean Air acquired a 30.77% stake in Asiana from Korea Development Bank. While operating as separate
brands, the integration process began. However, the merger faced delays in receiving antitrust approvals from various foreign authorities, including China, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand, the United States, and Vietnam. The delay led to Korean Air operating Asiana Airlines as a subsidiary until 2024 when full integration is expected. Approval from some nations, including Turkey, Malaysia, and China, has been granted, but the U.S. Department of Justice blocked the deal in May 2023 due to monopoly concerns.
With a legacy built on a foundation of excellence, Asiana Airlines remains dedicated to shaping the future of aviation, enriching the travel experiences of passengers, and contributing positively to the global aviation community.
In a world where the sky is the limit, Asiana Airlines continues to soar, carrying the aspirations of travelers and the promise of a connected world.
Just as Asiana Airlines has evolved and adapted over the years, the spirit of the HL7594 lives on through its Aviationtag incarnation. This limited edition serves as a tribute to the aircraft's remarkable journey and Asiana's enduring commitment to quality and innovation.

I used to fly with their A380 to ICN. When I try to do the online check in. I cannot believe that they got economy class on the second floor. What an good news. And, I love their side compartment nearby the window seat. The beef rice is very tasty, you will love it. If you don’t like it, you can order the seafood meal. They put a lot of effort into the meal. what a good airline!!!!!
OMG, Asiana airlines is one of my favorite airlines. Cannot believe that I missed the bi-color.🥲🥲🥲🥲 Will it has second round release? 🥲🥲🥲🥲🥲 I am really really really really really want to have one with HL7594
Very cool release!
Stunning release very nice addition to my collection :)
Another very interesting Release. I think there were a lot of unique tags as the Asiana Airlines livery is very colorful and curved. The HL7594 is one of only 47 A321-131 ever delivered, also the second last ever delivered. Two IAE V2530-A5 engines were used in this configuration.
So it is a special configuration for a special release!
